Was I wrong to get worried?

My daughter fell off the couch today and hit her forehead on the metal part of the coffee table. I got to so worried because when she was done crying she fell asleep in my arms. I called my bf and asked if he could leave work early. He got mad so I told him hold on. I called the doctor they said she should be fine just keep an eye on her. Now my bf is pissed at me for making him leave work early. I was just so worried and scared. I was looking for some support not to pick a fight😔

You not wrong to worry. We all worry. But the big question why you needed him to leave early??  I don’t want to say wrong thing especially not knowing your situation. If you had your transportation you could of taken your self and baby to the doctor if he couldn’t get off or till you had more info. We as parents worry. But I also understand his point where you should of had more info before making him leave work early.

if she fell asleep after crying she should be checked. I know the dr said to keep an eye on her, but baby should stay awake after a fall for 30 minutes

It's not wrong to be worried but you shouldn't have asked him to come home unless she fell asleep after hitting her head or it was a bunch of blood coming from the wound. Calling the pediatrician didn't require 2 parents.

Of course you aren’t wrong to be worried! Worrying is all we do as moms in my opinion. My son has hit his head in our hard wood floor idk maybe 20 times. The time I took him to the doctor, he threw up shortly after he hit his head. The dr said he may have a mild concussion, but since babies heads aren’t fully fused their brain has somewhere to go unlike adults skulls. Since then I really only keep my son on the ground.
