Maternity pics?

Hey mama's! Are any of you ladies doing maternity pics? If so how far along will you be when you have them done? Professional or doing them yourself? Indoor or outdoor? Theme? I need some inspiration. I'm pregnant with my last kid and I've never had them done with my previous pregnancies bcuz I dont think I'm very photogenic especially big and pregnant lol but since this is my last I thought hey why not 🤷🏾‍♀️

Im skipping professional maternity shoot and opting for newborn/family photoshoot instead. When i think about it- once the baby is here, im going to take & want pics of him everywhere. Not so much of just the bump. So i don’t want to spend money on all these pics that ill barely have up. Ive taken plenty pics of me with the bump & hubby so those will go in baby’s album.

This is my last too, and the only one I did pics with. I don’t remember maternity pics being a thing 7&9 years ago, or If it was I missed it. I did them early bc I don’t ever feel comfortable with my body later in pregnancy. This meant sticking my belly out a little for some of the pics, but I’d rather do that than have pics once my face swells and changes around the 30 week mark. Totally personal preference. I have a friend who is an amazing amateur photographer and we just did them at a local park. My tip, find a dress you LOVE and you’ll feel great. Good luck mama!

I’ll be almost 29 weeks for mine!! They are in 2.5 weeks and I can’t wait! We hired a professional and they will be outside. My last pregnancy I didn’t do them and I regret it. So since this is our second and last baby, we are doing it! Me, my husband and our 6 yr old daughter 💗
I already have quite the bump at 26 weeks. I feel like the beginning of the first trimester is the best time to do them. Cute round bump before all the swelling kicks in 😂😂

I’ll be doing mine at 34 weeks outside. I have a fillyboo maternity dress I love. Using a professional photographer - same one did my first pregnancy. My first ones are my favorite pictures of me and my husband so I can’t wait to do these ones in October.

This is one of the shots I got last pregnancy. I was 34-35 weeks along. 
Only 2 things I wish I would’ve done differently 1. Wear more comfortable shoes 2. Not walk so much in the shoot. 
The photographer had a spot she wanted to use but it took a lot of walking and she didn’t tell me ahead of time so I’m in sandals and starting to have Braxton Hicks from all the walking. And I could’ve really used some water too bc this was in late August in Texas so it was hot!

I am not much for wanting to be photographed but my first 3 children (with ex husband) I literally maybe have 1 picture pregnant with them, so I’m trying my best to get pictures with my other 3 with my husband now
