When did you start wearing loose/maternity clothes?

I'm at about 5 months now. Just wondering when did clothes start feeling tight for you? I am an awkward stage now. Too big for my pre pregnancy clothes and I feel like maternity clothes just looks huge on me. Any advice on what clothes are best for this trimester?

I got maturnity clothes at thrift stores. I also bought leggings on Amazon. I've been wearing them sonce wk 15. Im now 18. Just wk 16 i filled them out enough they weren't falling.

Instead of buying maternity clothes, I just buy bigger “regular” clothes. Maternity clothes are going to be more expensive vs. just getting bigger sizes of whatever clothes you usually wear

I bought some nursing tops for this awkward period. They seem to be cut longer and are made of a stretchy material. This was I can wear them now and after baby comes to save some money.

My pants stared getting tight around weeks 7-9 and by 11/12 weeks I had to buy maternity jeans (why did I wait so long? So comfy!) I'm now 20 weeks and really need to look into maternity tops bc all my pre pregnancy tops are way too small and ride up my tummy lol

From bloating early, I stopped wearing jeans and button up shorts in early July.  I bought a bunch of jersey swing dresses from old navy.  Rompers are good too with an elastic waistband.  Finally bought some maternity jean shorts and leggings, and a cute tunic top from Motherhood Maternity.  They aren’t baggy, they just stretch and cinch in the right places so are comfortable but also flattering even tho I only have a smaller bump right now.  i could wear them even when not pregnant and they would still fit nice and not look like stereotypical “maternity clothes”.  Stretchy material is key!  😊
