Lump under jaw

So, I have a lump under my jaw, on the right side. It can't be seen, only felt when I press down on it. It's sore when I do. I'm wondering if it's a swollen lymph node due gum infection. I think it started when my gums around my wisdom tooth started swelling up really bad. I have bad teeth, but don't have insurance at the moment to go to the dentist. I googled it and it is most likely bc of infection, but in rare cases can be cancer. And that really freaks me out. Did anyone else ever have this kind of issue when you had an infection? Does it go away eventually or do I need to get medicine for the infection before it will go away? I am so scared. Looking for some reassurance that it's not as serious as I fear. I have no way to get it checked out right, no insurance, no money..😭 any help please!!
