Breast Reduction & Breast Feeding

Hi there! First time pregnancy over here currently 7 weeks. Starting to think about breast feeding. I had a breast reduction at the age of 19 (age 31 now) and was told there might be a chance I won’t be able to breast feed. I’ve been having a lot of pain in my boobs and nipples which I thought COULD mean something is happening with preparation for milk production. Anyone have any experience with having a reduction and being able to feed or not? I appreciate any info!
