25 weekers: pitting edema in your lower extremities?! 😭

I am a nurse and am on my feet 12 hours a shift. Anybody else getting pitting edema in their lower extremities? 😭

Can you see my cats footprints on my leg? He stood on my leg for about ten min and the footprints stayed on my leg for a few hours. I 100% have pitting edema and I panicked. I am still working two jobs and both are 10-12hr shifts of 100% standing. I don’t even take a break because one is at a 24hr vet hospital as a nurse and the other is a bartending job. I use compression sleeves and compression socks and NOTHING works. I even bought HOKA one one shoes which are super expensive cause I was desperate and nope. Same. (Disclosure: I’m also on lovenox twice a day for blood clots prior to pregnancy so maybe that’s making my circulation worse??)  I’m 26/4 .... and FTM.

Yes, but mainly at the end of the day, usually goes away by the morning.  I’m a little worried it’ll get more consistent by the end of this.  Compression socks really do seem to help though!

I used really good compression socks and would only swell up on days I didn’t wear them!
