Sciatica pain?

Currently 33 weeks and 1 day. I think o started having my first experience with sciatica pain. It came on suddenly like the pain of a pinched nerve in my left lower back. It’s super sharp and intense. It takes my breath away. As soon as it started I took a Tylenol. It’s been 2-3 hours since and not really any relief. Walking or sitting doesn’t help. 
It’s gotten to the point where right now I get feelings on and off of needing to throw up from it hurting so bad. I’m not sure what to do about it. Im a teacher and trying my best to get through the pain and teach but it’s hard. I’m teaching right no and still have the day ahead of me. Would a heat compress of some sort help? I need some sort of relief 😭

I’m 30+4 and sometimes baby settles down against the nerve sometimes causing that sharp pain and numbness in my legs. Heat packs help some but getting my baby to move ultimately is what makes the pain stop.

I would try heat, a chiropractor, and maybe even taping it. I'm a teacher too, and have had sciatic pain in my left hip and leg since around 5 months pregnant. The only thing that helps mine is laying down, so I am miserable at work. However I have been able to get a small loveseat in my classroom which I sit on right near my active board and computer and honestly teach from it most of the day because I can lay on my side and get the pressure off of my tailbone. I still have a hard time walking by the end of the day!
Mine makes me sick to my stomach some days as well and Tylenol doesn't really help! I wish I had more advice! It is a hard thing to deal with!

I also see a chiropractor and find more relief with ice over heat compress.  Some days are better than others.

I have been seeing a chiropractor and it’s been managing my sciatica pain completely. Definitely worth looking into and they normally accept most insurance companies. A heat compress or an epsom salt bath could help as well!

I roll around on a tennis ball to help mine every night and ice the crap out of it. My belly band also helps.
