I had a really easy pregnancy so I can’t comment on that part. However I will 100% say that labor is easier than period cramps haha I’d rather birth a baby each month. I get really bad cramps, can’t stand up, throwing up, passing out and it’s constant. Contractions are similar but you get a break inbetween and counter pressure eased mine a lot (:

Depends. First one, I’d say labor was worse. I was pretty sick in the beginning, but I could function if I had to most of the time and with no other kids, I could rest up when I wasn’t working. By the half way point, I had figured out my triggers and changes my diet to include more protein etc and I felt great. Late in the third trimester the fatigue hit harder (just at the end of the day) and heartburn was NO fun, but I was perfectly happy and comfortable beyond that (though I did eat quite frequently 😂). Thaa as t labor was ROUGH! Water broken for 86 hours by birth, contractions didn’t start for a couple days, but when they did I had about 8 hours of uncomfortable labor followed by 21 hours of intense, close contractions with back spasms in between each (not a second between where I got relief from pain 🙄), pain so bad that I vomited every ten to fifteen minutes for all of those 21 hours and couldn’t keep the tiniest sip of anything down (home birth so no meds and I was allowed to eat and/or drink at will. I dodn’t want to drink, but I was quite dehydrated after a few hours of vomiting, so my midwife encouraged it and I vomited every time.), all topped off with two hours of pushing with completely numb limbs because I’d labored on my knees and elbows for so long. I had a second degree tear and a somewhat minor hemorrhage where I was given pitocin to stop the bleeding. Lidocaine and stitches are still the worst memory from it all! And postpartum and early breastfeeding were sooooo hard. I struggles for 3 months. Def labor was harder.
With my second, baby was breech until our second ECV (first was unsuccessful) which made me super uncomfortable the entire time and the ECV was crazy painful, though only 10 mins for the successful one. I was still sick early on, but not as much or as long. It was quite manageable. But labor was a breeze! And postpartum and breastfeeding were easier than I ever would have imagined they could be, even while fully caring for my 19 month old from 2 weeks pp too! 17 hours of broken waters by birth, contractions took a while to start, but not days. 6 hours of active labor that was uncomfortable but had breaks. By the time I started wondering how much more I could take (I qas expecting a long labor and we were only a handful of hours in), it was about another 15 mins before I was holding my baby. I went from a 7/8 cm to ready to push in a single contraction. My body pushed that child out entirely on it’s own in two contractions, small tear that didn’t need to be stitched. I felt amazing even that night. Labor was way easier!
Currently 10 weeks with number 3. Have hyperemesis and seriously struggling/suffering, as are my 3 and 1 year old for whom I care all day 😞 mommy is worthless! I sure hope I’ll be able to say labor was easier ...

Pregnancy was harder! Labor was 22 hours and not that bad with 2 hours of getting put back together again. Pregnancy was 41 weeks of nausea, fatigue, carpal tunnel, sciatic pain, and shortness of breath.

Yes yes yes. I tell all my pregnant friends, labor is like one day, pregnancy is 9 freaking months. And breastfeeding is the hardest of everything. I went natural in 6 hours. It was the easiest part of the whole process.

For sure!! My first pregnancy was perfect. My second pregnancy was rough. I cried so much. I hated it. I couldn’t breathe at all, my heart rate stayed over 100, even my resting heart rate would be like 120, my iron stayed super low, I had baadddd morning sickness the first 3 months where I even had to quit my job. I had scary depression during my 2nd trimester, and by the third trimester I was just exhausted. Plus I was put in the hospital for two days and given morphine due to a kidney stone!!! But my labor and delivery with my second was amazing!! 4 hour labor and all natural birth ❤️🙌🏼

Actually, pregnancy and labor were both easy for me, but the postpartum recovery hit me like a ton of bricks. I was taking the max daily dose of ibuprofen for 10-14 days, and was still in pain for 6 weeks pp. I guess something had to give! I'm ok with that.

I suffer from HG and horrible sciatica pain throughout my whole pregnancy... and obviously other regular pregnant not so fun symptoms. Labor though I have long ones they arent to painful. I have very short transition and like 2 pushes and I'm good. I never tear. Also last pregnancy I had pupps that was the worst case my midwife had ever seen. Pregnancy sucks but labor and birth is perfectly fine lol.

100%!!!! I had HG from 6 weeks to 40 weeks 5 days. Constant Braxton Hicks and heartburn/acid reflux from 20 weeks until birth.
Labor for me was 12 hours with 20 minutes of pushing.
The labor was ya know, painful and all but it was such a short period of time compared to being pregnant. The best feeling in the world was as soon as a pushed out my daughter. It was the biggest, best feeling of relief. 
So thankful I could do everything naturally to be able to experience that feeling!

In a lot of ways, yes. Pregnant was so long! 40 weeks (more like 10 months, not the alleged 9!) is a hell of a long time. Dressing myself that last trimester a joke! I was so tired all the time. (Well,
I am now too but I have my beautiful children waking me, versus a 30-40 lbs “bump.”) with labor, the longest labor I had was 20 hours, the shortest labor I had was 6! I didn’t have to dress myself. (I was nude for both.) And although labor was exhausting, I had my beautiful baby at the end of them!
