Baby shower dress

I’m just having no luck!!! I bought a dress for my baby shower off Amazon and I love it. However, it’s too long. About a month ago I took it to an alteration shop. They asked me to wait until about 2 weeks before the shower. Well, I worked Friday, Saturday, Sunday on night shift so I came home Monday morning and slept all day. I took it to the alteration shop today....they are closed!!!! And I work Wednesday and Thursday. And my shower is on the 29th! I don’t know what to do!!
