Heart beat?

First time pregnant mom here- I have a million questions, so I apologize if they are stupid!

I have my first doctor's appointment next week at 5 weeks and 2 days. The scheduling dept said this was the earliest I could get in, and that it was an appointment to confirm the pregnancy, but that I would get to talk to the doctor too.

My question is- is there ANY chance they would be able/willing to search for the heartbeat that early at a "confirm the pregnancy" appointment?

I KNOW I implanted on 7dpo because I experienced implantation cramps and got my first positive at 9dpo (and I know exactly when I ovulated because of OPKs and temping) So if you implant that early, does that ever make the baby further along than originally thought?

I'm going out of town around 7 weeks- so it would be so awesome to be able to try to see the heartbeat if at all possible!
