Two vessel cord instead of three😨. Anyone else been told this?

Yep! My son had a 2vc. Born 40+1 8lbs 12oz and perfectly healthy and normal. He’s almost 20 months and he’s a big healthy toddler.

My twin nephew only had two, he was a little smaller than his sister but perfectly healthy!

I am pregnant with mo/Di twins and one of my girls has a 2 vessel cord and the other has a 3 vessel cord. The one with a 2 vessel cord is smaller than the other one. Her umbilical cord is closer to the edge of the placenta while the others is right in the middle. Basically the 2 vessel cord just doesn’t give as much nutrients to the baby as the 3 vessel cord does. I have weekly ultrasounds to monitor the babies and how they are growing. So far, they are both healthy and normal, one is just smaller than the other.
