Haha I’m pretty positive almost every person does, Not everyone talks to themselves out loud, but that little voice talking inside your head exists in everyone. That little voice is called inner speech, and you can hear it when you're thinking or silently reading. When inner speech is occurring, your larynx is actually making tiny muscular movements

yes AND no. It’d be exhausting for every bit of info I received and mentally registered to be narrated constantly. Sometimes I think visually, like instead of counting or something I’ll just visualize numbers in a picture instead of think-speaking “thirty two, thirty three”. (Why am I having a hard time explaining this Lmao!) But yeah...like those moments where something scary is about to happen and it feels like you have 0 time but in less than 2 seconds your mind comes to 183629 scenarios of what if, and what to do; that when time is of the essence mentally stating your thoughts to the assigned words is just not as fast as the notion of it. As if the glimmer of an idea is what we imagine, but don’t consciously use language?? Idk. I think people don’t realize they think in notions as much. Very cool question! But yes, definitely both!
