very light periods

so my periods used to be very heavy ( having to change a super plus tampon almost every hour) but this time around my period is so light (not even going through a super plus tampon in 4 hours) so i wonder why 🤷🏼‍♀️ i haven’t changed absolutely anything. i also used to have terrible cramps going alone with heavy bleeding but i’ve been perfect this time. any suggestions why
