Any other mamas?

My son turns 1 on october 16th. I just finished up his formula an just going straight to cows milk. Is any other mothers doing that as well? Some people have shamed me but my son already mainly eats regular human food. An gets a bottle when he wakes up, goes down for a nap, an going to bed. My mother an grandmother both even said its fine.

I am working on the transition! It's not going well for us yet. 
I'd say you're fine! I dont think anything magical is going to happen the hour that he turns 1. He's almost one ya know?

The bottle when he wakes up and for nap and bed, is it formula or cows milk? 
Just a question lol nothing else to it just curious. 
And we’ll be using this last can of formula we just bought then my girl will be done.

I’ve been thinking of doing that when we run out but we have 2 canisters of formula still in the pantry. It’s okay to just “cold turkey” the formula but it is recommended to not have them drink more than 16oz of milk because it is a “filler” and having more he might not eat as much of the other nutrients in food needed.

We aren’t finished yet but using the last of what’s left in the can and then we are done. I’m not buying a whole other can just for a week or 2. Our can is more than half gone, when we finish that we are done with formula. My daughter is down to  taking about 8 ounces of formula a day so she’s ready. She is tired of the formula when she knows she can have the better stuff. She is a good eater when it comes to solids. Eats almost anything I give her. She eats 3 meals and 1-2 snacks a day. I was worried at first to with her not going all the way till she’s one on the formula but my husband is trying to reassure me that she will be ok especially since she’s such a good eater with her solids

I’ll be gradually adding some to his formula but only because we have lactose intolerant family members and (tmi) I get constipated when I drink/have cows milk like 2/3 days type lol so I don’t want to do that to him if he’s just as sensitive

My son has been on milk for a few weeks now. He will be 1 on the 4th. He drinks 3 sippys a day. He totally just gave up the bottle and formula.
