First period after d&c?

It’s been 5 weeks since I had my D&C and I’m still waiting for my period. I feel like it’s taking forever. How long did everyone else have to wait till they got theirs? I want everything to go back to normal, but it’s so hard... this week I would’ve been 16 weeks and could’ve known the gender.. I’m so heartbroken still.

5 weeks after my D&C. Just got it 9/12 finally. Felt like an eternity.

Mine took almost 7 weeks to come back. Everyone’s different and I was almost 12 weeks along with mine too. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I am so sorry you are going through this! It took me 5 weeks to get my period. I was 14w1d and baby was 10w1d. Hope that helps! Maybe your body needs a bit more time

I’m here for the same question. I had a D&C March 4th and I bleed till like March 11th
I haven’t had a period since. 
I took a pregnancy test today and it said positive. I’m not sure if it’s a false positive or not.
