brother in law

I just told my brother in law off , it was a long time coming he is a atheist who feels the need to put down anyone who follows any religion even if you are not practicing. I have held up anger and I found the opportunity and called him and spoke to him for a hour, I feel better but kind of wish I didnt express how I felt, I mean it cleared the air and it was nice but I wish I didnt let him know he got to me. Anyone else been in a shitty situation like this
