Should I tell him?

So I just recently got approved for a forbearance on my school loans. I won't have to make any payments until the end of December, since I'm only part-time at the moment and will be giving birth in November.

I don't get paid much. So I was asking my boyfriend if I should get $100 of groceries and put $100 in our joint account, and wait to pay the car insurance. He said school loans and credit cards are my focus this week. How can I tell him I have a forbearance? What if he isn't happy about the decision I made? Interest will still be applied, but I wont have to make a single payment until 12/20/19 and it shouldn't affect my credit. I guess I'm just nervous when it comes to money with him. Idk...
