Baby number 2.... maybe?

Me and my husband are discussing trying for baby 2. I have a daughter from a previous marriage and he considers her his but does not have one of his own. While I do want a baby with him and how exciting it is to plan this new life with him, I’m nervous. My daughter is 7 now and we want to try June - September of 2020. So she will be 8 when baby number 2 arrives. Is that to far apart? Anyone have experience with babies born far apart! Calm me please lol
