Growth spurt??

Baby has a lost of appetite. Went from eating 4oz to 1-1.5oz every 1-2hrs. Gaining beautifully but it still hurts to see her this way! also has reflux. 5wk2d dr not concerned said she’s doing well I’m just not use to this. Has anyone else gone through this? Did LO start eating regularly again? & how long did it last?

Newborns will change how much they eat.  Its just like you, sometimes you want a salad, sometimes you want a hamburger.  You only need to be concerned if she loses weight.  So don't worry.

my son did this...he ate 3-4 oz and then randomly decreased to less ounces but in shorter time frames. He was in a growth spurt and it lasted about 3 days.

My daughter didn’t eat 4 oz at a time until she was about 4-5 months old. As long as she’s gaining I wouldn’t worry about it
