Would you say this is a toy a 1 year old would be interested in this?

I'm asking because my SO brought if for our daughter for Christmas. She used it a little in the beginning but once she was sitting up she wasn't interested in it. A couple months ago he asked why I didn't use it and I said I thought she was too old for it (not that he's made an effort to use it). I took off all the toys which she occasionally plays with, never been interested in the music. Last week he asked me how to put it together cos he forgot. Anyway I moved it out of her toy box a couple of days ago due to taking up much space and he asked why I was moving it. Our daughter doesn't sit still so what is she going to do with it?? Why complain if u don't attempt to use it ever. I'm confused 😕
