Canadian Moms. Can you apply to jobs while on maternity leave?
I only ask because I know EI reports always would ask if you were actively seeking work. Since maternity leave is different with no EI reports I’m wondering if it’s okay to apply for work. There is a posting that went up at a local University and the job would not begin until April, which would work out perfectly!
