Is it wrong of me to be disappointed?

My bf and I celebrate half years and years we have been together and yesterday was our 3.5 year mark. I bought us nfl tickets and a shirt of his favorite player for him (half the gift is for Christmas). He did nothing until I made the plans and said let’s go out so he bought our meal. I drove and bought my own ice cream. Now I’m not saying I expect him to spend a lot of money, but he could’ve wrote me a note or even just posted something about it online. Am I disappointed for no reason?
