Does your baby act / behave differently around you and your spouse?

Question

My husband and I fought tonight because he says I “give in to” my almost 12 month daughter when she starts to cry or gets upset. FT working mom here and I take care of her in the evenings.... I think I’m just getting my cuddles in, he says I’m teaching her bad habits. Thoughts?

In my opinion, it’s too early to discipline a baby.. they don’t understand they’re doing anything wrong when they’re being a nightmare. I think at this age baby is usually fussy because something is wrong/they’re tired/they just want you, and that’s ok! My son has days where he just wants to be held and my husband is like omg I can’t take it.. those days are difficult but I try to remind him that this is just a phase and some day he won’t want to be held at all. In your case, since you don’t see baby until night I would be the same way!! I’m a SAHM and even an hour away from baby I miss him, so you cuddle that baby whenever you feel like it! ❤️
