Am I being out of hand?

My husband is growing out a beard for a month... All for a haloween costume! He is in military on leave and knows I am unattracted to facial hair. We booked a hotel for a week to visit his family, and he will be with his younger brother for haloween night. Am I selfish to want him to shave? He acted like painting on a fake beard was out of the question!
