Working up until DD

So I’m really trying to work up until delivery day but I seriously don’t know how I will do it. Mamas who have worked up until labor how did you do it? when did you go into labor and how did you make it to the hospital etc? My hospital is 1hr away. I’m due October 11th also, so I don’t have long I’m just worried about getting to the hospital lol
