If so how did you? Any tips on sacrifices you made it a good job or anything! I know if there is a will there is a way ad I know others have done it that aren’t wealthy

Many private schools have scholarships/financial aid! I would check out some schools you’re interested in and then ask about their financial aid policies.

One other thing - check if your state has a private school voucher program (15 states do). These programs let you basically take money that would go to support your kid in a public school to pay for tuition at a private school.

Not a tip on saving strategies exactly, but look into if a 529 savings account would be good for you. It can be used for K-12 or college expenses and has some tax benefits. 
For federal taxes, any earnings on the account won't be taxed as long as the funds are used for education expenses. A lot of states also offer tax benefits. Like in my state, I can use my contributions to the account as a deduction on my tax return.
Family members can also make gifts to the account if they want.
I have an account set up for my 3 year old and have an automatic transfer set up each pay period to go into it. I set mine up through Fidelity and it was very easy.

You can check to see if they offer scholarships or not. 
Where I live, the public schools offer more than the private schools and they aren’t religious based. The public schools are a lot better here than the private schools. They have more funding, clubs, academic opportunities, etc. 
But you can always call and ask about financial help for your child if you want them to attend private school.

I will be, but he’s not old enough yet. I’m saving as much as I can right now, and then I plan to just budget it in. The school I will be sending him to has a payment plan that you can pay each month. If it gets to that point, I will sacrifice luxuries and/or work overtime as much as I can.
