Will it be considered statutory rape?

I’m 16 turning 17 this December, & this guy turned 20 in June. The age of consent where I live is 16, but because i am a minor if we were to have sex would it be considered statutory rape? I’ve read multiple things online from different reputable sources and none gave a very clear answer.
EDIT: this is the most reliable source i could find. Also this isn’t a random hookup but someone I have known for years. Although he is 20 & I am 16 it is only about 3.5 years difference.

Depends on area. Here age of consent is 16 but only with someone at most 2 years older.

It depends where you live. Where I am from, the consent age is 16 but it is illegal for anyone over the age of 18 to have sexual activity with anyone under the age of 18. So it would be statutory rape in my country. 
Nonetheless there are states and countries that work different like: the consent age is 16, and it is legal to have sexual activity with anyone with an age gap of maximum of 4 years older. In which case would still be statutory rape as he is 4 years older. But in this scenario, if you were 17 and he was 20, you would be ok. 
But the only way of you knowing is if you look up your state or country’s laws.
