We are NO “gender reveal” people... should we find out at the doctor’s office or at home?

My husband and I are both not into the big gender reveal thing at all... while we ARE very excited to find out what gender our baby is, we really don’t feel the need to have a party or even getting a cupcake with pink or blue frosting or something is too much for us lol. 
I just want to find out at the doctor’s appointment! Like when they ask if we want to know the sex of the baby I just want to say yes! Lol. But my husband says he’d rather have it put in an envelope and open it at home. Personally I don’t see the difference between it being at the doctor’s or at home and I feel like I’m not going to want to wait until we get home 😂

My husband and I aren't the type to throw a gender reveal party either. Our first we found out in the office via ultrasound, second over the phone via blood test, and third we had my doc email the results of the blood test to my husband and he surprised me with them (fyi the third is our first girl and he brought me pink roses, girl clothes, and taco bell with the pink freeze😂😍).

At the birth? 😁 I swear it’s the best surprise ever. Done it 4 times.

Hubby and I also were not into the gender reveal party. Unfortunately, hubby couldn’t join me for the anatomy scan. So I simply asked doc to put gender in an envelope before he started the scan. Hubby and I had a nice dinner and opened at home together, to us it was more special this way.

My husband and I aren’t into gender reveals either. I did a harmony/NIPT blood test early in the pregnancy and got a phone call with the results when I was alone at home. I called my husband on his lunch to let him know we were having a girl. If your husband wants it to be just the two of you, I’d say wait to do it at home. At the doctors office, there’s a third party person who your husband might not feel 100% comfortable around.

Find out at the doctor’s office! That way they can point out all the features and you don’t have to awkwardly look away for a few minutes haha.

Honestly, I'd do what he wanted.  I think they feel a little left out of the whole pregnancy thing at times and it doesn't seem to make a real difference to you, so let him have what he wants on this one.

I’m not on the gender reveal bandwagon either. With my daughter we had them tell us in the office and I’ll do the same with this one.

We did a gender ultrasound just the two of us for our first and will again for this one. It was soo special. They book 30 minutes for just you looking at your baby. They started with the face, then we counted all the fingers and toes, and then finally found out the gender and just got to watch our baby move around and do it’s thing in there together with nobody else. It was 1000% worth the $80.

We waited to do it at home and recorded it. I knew what my husbands reaction would be to a girl and it needed to be seen 🤣
