NIPPLE PIERCING?

I’ve been wanting to get my nipples pierced for over a year now but every time I get nervous about it mostly cause of the stories of infection and pain but I’ve been working really hard to love my body but honestly the biggest insecurity is my boobs but I’m learning to love them however I heard that smaller chest women do tend to get more confidence when they do get their nipples pierced and since it is something I want I should go for it right?!

I got them pierced when I was 18. Honestly it was stupid. One thing no one warned me about is when you get cold and your nipples get hard, it’s like super painful with the piercings. Also if you wear tight shirts it looks like you have 4 nipples from the rings. The piercing itself didn’t hurt.

I got mine pierced when I was 16 because I had small boobs and thought jewelry would make them prettier 😂 I loved them then and still do now, 16 years later. 
It was horribly painful and took a year to fully heal. Worth it all for me.

It's a lot of work to take care of them. Nipples heal very very slowly and you have to clean them a lot. A lot can go wrong. The initial piercing didnt really hurt for me. I liked them and had them for a few years. I took them out after I started dating my current boyfriend. They were a hassle, having to be mindful about them, and his dog would claw my nipples every often. I just wanted to not have to worry about them anymore so I took them out

Confidence is not going to come with piercings. You should work on that before you decide to get them done. I had mine done a long time ago and had them in for well over 14 years. If I had to do it again I wouldn’t. One nipple kept getting infected no matter what I did and once I took them out there was a lot of scar tissue. But of course I had them in for a long long time. Now I’m pregnant and I’m not sure if I can breast feed. If you decide to do it, just keep it in for a few years and if it becomes infected just take them out.

I didn’t have the same experience as the other commenters. I love mine! It did hurt, but it’s over so quickly! I don’t have any issues with them being irritated or painful when my nipples get hard. If you want them, then I say go for it! You can always take them out if you don’t like them.

I got mine pierced and took them out a few months later. They were really easily irritated and painful. I have small boobs and I honestly like them way more without the piercings, the piercings made me feel masculine
