Chemical pregnancy

So Friday the 20th which would have been the 1st day if my period I got a positive test, that night I started lightly spotting then Saturday the 21st I was bleeding bright red and some clots. I continued to test daily and the tests got lighter until Monday they were completely negative. I called my doc and he said he believed it was a chemical pregnancy and no need to worry or come in just keep testing for a week and let him know if the tests stay negative. Last time I tested was Monday and today (Thursday) I randomly tested because my husband brought it up and the test was faintly positive again 🤔 It kinda looked like an evap line to me but I was wondering what everyone else thought.
