Exclusively pumping?

Question

Any mamas exclusively pumping? If so, how much is your newborn eating per feed? My son is eating 3 oz every 2-2.5 hours where my daughter was only eating 2 oz every 3 hours when I had her last year. Just wondering if I’m feeding him too much or if I’m doing ok! We don’t go back to the dr until Wednesday so I’ll probably ask then but wanted to see what other mamas had to say.

Per my IBCLC ,breastfed babies only need 1-1.25 every hour and to not do bottles larger than 3oz. Also, don’t forget to pace feed. The amount will never change as the baby gets older. Your breast milk changes as they grow to give them what they need. Pediatricians don’t usually have a lot of info on breastfeeding.

I swear my girl is going between 2-4 oz every 1.5 to 3 hours... its been a few rough nights but i know shes growing and not thowung it up, so ill just kerp feeding her lol

I am exclusively pumping. My boy is three weeks old and eats about 2.5-3 ounces every two hours during the day and about every three hours at night.

I do pumping and formula. My 4 day old eats 1 oz of my milk and 2 oz of formula sometimes he finishes it all and sometimes he leaves half an oz in the bottle.

My son is ten days old and eats 3-4 oz per feed usually every 2 1/2 hours.

My son is 2 weeks and he is also eating 3 oz every 2-3 hours. I felt like this was too much as well but his pediatrician said it’s fine and I would know if I’m over feeding if he’s throwing up
