At home doppler, any tips?

I’ll be 16 weeks on Monday, at our last OB appt she found his heartbeat pretty fast I’d say and he was doing so good! 156 BPM! 💙😁
I went to try and find it at home myself and couldn’t, I didn’t let it stress me out, I mean I’m no professional!
Do you guys have any tips for a FTM for finding the heartbeat at home?

I'm 15 weeks tommorow and have one. HR is usually 157-158ish. It Took me awhile to find it but now I can usually find it right away. Just be patient and move it around slowly and you'll find it!

It's hard to fund sometimes. The baby moves away swiftly and has started rising abovevmy public bone.

The top of your uterus right now is about halfway between your belly button and pubic bone.. feel for that first. Then put a glob of jelly where you feel the top of your uterus in line with your bellybutton. You should hear the heartbeat within 2 inches either side of your bellybutton.  Hope that helps some! YouTube videos helped me a bunch.. I've been listening to my babys heartbeat since 10weeks.. I'm 15 weeks now.

Do you already have a Doppler? I noticed my girl hangs out on one side because I have an anterior placenta, but it’s off to the left. Just use lots of jelly, and keep slowly applying pressure and moving around. It might help once you find your own heartbeat from your uterus.

We have an at home Doppler and we couldn’t hear the heart beat until we were like 18 weeks. I wouldn’t stress to much!
