How long did it take for HCG to return to 0 after miscarriage?

Hello,
I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and 6 days. Two days later the ultrasound confirmed the miscarriage and my HCG was at 750. My OBGYN team says to wait until HCG is at 0 before trying again. 
How long did it take everyone for their HCG to return to 0? 
Did most of you wait until home pregnancy tests were negative again before trying?

I’m 9 weeks and I’ve had a missed miscarriage. My HCG is 57,000 at the moment the ob will do a D&C on Friday and she has warned me it’s likely to take 3 weeks for my HCG to drop to zero. She said my body won’t ovulate until it’s back at zero. I’m going to take a pregnancy test a few days after I finish to monitor. Then I’ll use opk to track my ovulation.

For me it was about 10 days

At that stage of pregnancy  for me it was back to non pregnant levels within a week. At 11 weeks when I mc it was 3 weeks
