Healed perineal tear still tender?

I had my son on June 9th and ended up with a third degree tear. It is completely healed but today it has been very tender. I looked and there are no cuts or anything that I can see. Does anyone else still experience pain on their healed tears?

I had a minor tear, only took like 4-5 stitches. It’s been a year and a half and there’s a been a few times my husband has hit it and it definitely doesn’t feel very good. Makes me nervous about delivery and the healing process this time around

It tears the muscle too and that takes a long time to heal. That muscle is really thick. Even when there are not visible cuts, itll still be sore for a while.

Gave birth June 15 and had 3rd degree tears and there are days I still feel tender. Depending on what I’ve done that day. For example, today I drove to my parents 2 hours away (4 hours total in the car) and all that sitting has me pretty sore. Also if I do an intense workout or stand for too long .

I gave birth May 20 with a 2nd degree tear and I feel tender sometimes, especially when I get close to my period.
