Birthday party

Will I make it through my oldest son’s 6th birthday tomorrow??

I am 38w4 and contracting increasingly since 36w, when I was 2 cm. I was 3 cm on Wednesday.m, fully effaced. Have been losing mucus plug since last Sunday ... a LOT today and having to go to the bathroom for real like every 10 minutes.

Did so much cooking and cleaning today. Hope I didn’t overextend myself. Just need to make it through our cookout tomorrow afternoon, then baby can come. My oldest was born 37w2 and my soon-to-be-middle at 39w5. Anything is possible, but my, I have an ominous feeling. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I really don’t want two kids to share a birthday, and I’d like to enjoy this day with my first baby.

Also, who plans to host a birthday at their home when this pregnant? Not smart. Not smart.

UPDATE: made it through a very successful birthday! Now to see how long this baby will make us wait. Nothing else is on the calendar.
