What birth control are you on

Question

Other than not getting pregnant what do you like about it? Ex: it's hormone free or it's an implant I don't have to worry about it...
I'm looking into changing my bc but not sure as to what yet.

Not current, but I hope you find it useful. My favorite bc has been the Aviane brand pill. I’ve tried a couple pills, the patch, and liletta iud. The aviane pill is the only thing that didn’t cause problems. It also cleared my acne up and lightened my periods. I never had problems with bleeding, weight gain, or mood swings.

I got the copper IUD recently. Only a few weeks in but I have no real complaints yet. I’m glad it’ll keep me protected for 10 years and it’s hormone-free.

I used the only FDA approved birth control app Natural Cycles for 3 years on the ‘prevent pregnancy’ setting and then I switched to ‘trying to conceive’ setting in May and I’m now expecting my first child. This app has worked great for myself and 5 of my friends. It’s worth mentioning that you’ll need to have a regular period for it to work properly but it is completely hormone free. I used a Nuva ring and then mirena coil for about 10 years before switching to the app.
