Gestational Diabetes Treatment

If you were diagnosed with GD, what was your treatment plan? What diet did you follow? What was follow up testing like? Finger pricks? Did you have to take insulin? How did that work?

I’m literally in the process of the 3 hour test. My 1 hour came back as a 154, I read it needed to be under 140. I’m terrified of GD, and everyone keeps telling me it’s “not a big deal and pretty easy to manage” but no one will tell me what the management looks like. I just want to be prepared!
