Not at all. When I was a kid, EVERYONE had their lights on and we were out until it was super dark-no curfew. Nowadays there’s a time frame for it, and hardly anyone has their lights on, and there’s hundreds of news articles that comes out about “tampered” candy which always turns out to be fucked up parents wanting 15 mins of fame. 🤦‍♀️ 
Halloween in general is nothing like what it used to be.
