Is this a herpes blister?

My daughter is officially two weeks today and I noticed that she has what looks like a blister on her lip. I do get cold sores sometimes but have never kissed on or near her mouth because of that. Is this a cold sore? If so, what should I do?

My advise is that even if it's nothing it's better if you ask your babies doctor to get it checked to be on the safe side.

Also, if you're nursing there are nursing blisters that can come up on their lips. My girl had one. It's just skin adjustments.

Put some breastmilk on her lips every now and then. Looks like it’s peeling..

Her lips are simply peeling youre fine.

Don’t want to scare you. But you should get the bby tested anyway it does not look like HSV1 but still just in case. Just read a horrible story in line bout a bby who had it and at 18 days old he passed on.
