Chemical smell in VS bras

I just ordered 4 bras from VS PINK. They all have a funny chemical smell. Which I know can be normal for new stuff. But I washed it out and I can still smell it. I know they had a lawsuit years back because of the claim that formaldehyde was in them. I am breast feeding my daughter and don’t want her to be exposed to these chemicals, so I took the bra off. Any one experienced this? Should I return them? Try washing again? Contact the company? Is it toxic if I am wearing the bra while breastfeeding?
