36 Weeks and feeling “off”

Hey ladies! I will be 36 weeks with #2 tomorrow! The last week has been a little weird, and this weekend just hasn’t been fun.

Backstory. I had my toddler through induction at 39 weeks due to preeclampsia. The third trimester I had Braxton Hicks, round ligament pain, and high BP. That’s about it.

Starting last week, I got a huge burst of energy. Nesting in major full swing. It was amazing! But then I started getting incredible pain in my lower abdomen- all the way from my left to right side... like he was just full on laying right there. I also felt like his hands were literally reaching down and opening my cervix to get out 🤣 I have also added lower back pain that comes and goes, but it’s not coming in a pattern or anything like that. This is all very different than my round ligament pain and stretching. Baby has also dropped I believe- I can breathe perfectly fine now (hallelujah)! Today, my right foot was a little more swollen than my left but it has gone down! And then a shooting pain under my right breast that comes and goes, along with a slight headache. I am very hydrated- I drink water like crazy. Okay. I think that’s it 🤣🙌🏼

I’ve just been laying down because I’m in too much pain to walk or really stand up- which I can’t do without being hunched over.

I feel this is sooo early to deal with for 4.5 more weeks.

Any tips? Maybe early sign of labor? He’s been measuring 3 weeks ahead in size so my doctor said he wasn’t worried one bit if he came now, but I know measurements are extremely up in the air. I’d obvi rather have him cook until 40 weeks ☺️

Allllll that to say I haven’t been through this with my first, so I’d like your (kind) opinions 🧡🧡🧡
