Feeling discouraged

I work in fast food and I have been at the same restaurant for 7 years. There is this lady who comes in all the time and she has 7 kids, the youngest being maybe 7 months old. All her kids have been taken away by the state and placed in foster care and she gets supervised visits every so often. This last time she came in she told me she was expecting another baby and it will get taken away at birth. And here I am going on a year trying for baby #2. I don’t understand how the higher power works all the time and normally I’m okay with that but recently this has just been eating me alive 😭
