Tips for bringing down fever?

My little one woke up with a high fever this morning and won't eat. We got a message from daycare yesterday that something was going around and several babies were sick. Was hoping we would dodge this one 😞 but alas, here we are. I gave him Tylenol but he's not eating. Any suggestions to bring his fever down and make him for comfortable?

Try a lukewarm bath. Also call your dr in case they want to see baby.

My daughter just went through this last week with something viral that’s going around if they are 6 mo you can rotate Tylenol and Motrin. My doc had me alternate the two every 4 hours for 24 hours. She also suggested pedilyte. If your baby won’t drink but will take meds with a syringe we just gave the pedilyte through a syringe a few oz after every bottle. She eventually would take it from a bottle which made it much easier. She felt better after the first day but wasn’t completely back to normal for probably 4 days.
