advice

My husband and I asked his brother and wife to be our daughters god parents but they don’t ask about her or anything. They just aren’t there..The couple I originally wanted is always here for her spend time with my kids etc..I really would want them to be her god parents..she isn’t baptized yet so would it be wrong to just ask them and I wouldn’t know what to say to the other couple? I don’t want problems with no one but I keep thinking this is my daughter and our choice ugh!!
