I had broken my waters Friday Morning 11:45am 27/09 and had gone to the hospital just to make sure it was my waters as I had a bit of a gush and than leaking. 2hrs into the hospital I started having contractions and than got heavy in the back (back contractions) We went home and they continued for a few hours into having completely nothing. So I was booked in the next day lunchtime for an induction. 

Hospital was short staffed and they had 13 others needing to be induced also. It got to 1.30pm and I finally got a room. My sister in-law and mum has arrived around 2:15pm to be with us. Than I started having immediate back contractions while hooked up to the machine to follow baby’s heart rate. It was almost 3pm and they were sooo strong I just knew I was going to start pushing soon. Called in a nurse to tell her I’m contracting as they didn’t know after hooking me up. They immediately saw how I was looking and I had to be checked for dilation. By the time this happened as they had to put the IV in my hand and I had to get dressed it was probably 3:30pm. She checked me and said her head is there it will be almost time. I literally stood up off the bed as I couldn’t lay down, and I needed to push straight away! Got on my fours on the bed and had her in a few pushes being born at 4:05pm ✨ 

It was the craziest unexpected thing ever as they didn’t get to induce me after all! But I was so happy for that and she’s so beautiful. Came out so clean and easy, such a fighter!! My 2nd girl and she’s amazing like her sissy Santana-Lee 🦋💕
