baby daddy problems

so i dated this boy in college and i got pregnant right before winter break of my freshman year so i dropped out and moved back home to go to school and when i decided to keep the baby my boyfriend told me that long distance wasn’t going to work so he broke up with me.

9 months later i had our daughter. now she is a month old and he has yet to come meet her (he lives 4 hours away) but now he’s making excuses about how he doesn’t have any time and he doesn’t want to make time because he doesn’t even know if she’s his. but i told him to come take a paternity test if he really doesn’t believe me. but i’m not a cheater so she’s definitely his kid. and i know he has time because he dropped out of school to be a dealer.

what should i do about him? should i take him to court or is that just being extra? i want my daughter to know her father but he obviously doesn’t care.
