Potential miscarriage-need support

I should be 6 weeks/3 days. So I’ve been having brown spotting with light cramps for the past 3 days. Not enough to even make it to my underwear, just when I wipe like every other time. So I let my Dr. know. She had me come in this morning for a transvaginal ultrasound and was able to see the yolk sac but couldn’t find the baby. She also said my bladder was full. My hcg levels are 37,000 and she said with those levels she should be able to see more of a fetus and heart beat on the ultrasound. She says maybe the baby stopped growing. So she says she suspects I’m having a miscarriage.

I’m going to go back on Thursday to have my hcg level drawn again. She said if they drop then it confirms miscarriage. If they rise, she will do another ultrasound early next week.

I’ve been devastated and crying so much because she suspects miscarriage. I called off work tonight because I’m so upset.

Anyone have any similar stories where it ended in a good way? I need support...
