Overly sensitive nipples?

Hi!

My baby will be 3 months tomorrow and for the last few days, my nipples have been extremely sensitive to the point that it’s painful to breastfeed.

She hasnt had any latching issues and i dont have any blisters or cuts on my nipples. Nothing physical that i can see.

Do you ladies notice extra sensitivity during certain points in your cycle? Im not really sure where i am. My first pp period was at the end of August, i had a positive opk 2 days ago and negative pregnancy test. Im waiting for my period to get on BC.

Could the extra sensitivity be because of ovulation?
