(Warning: Teeth pic) Anyone else struggling with cavities?

I am 9+3 now and discovered a rather large cavity under a filling I just got 4 months ago! Is there anything they can do to fix this in pregnancy? How can I prevent the cavities I’ve been brushing my teeth regularly 😞

I cracked a tooth and have to have a root canal, and apparently there really isn't any reason why you can't have most dental work done while pregnant. Untreated cavities can become infected which would be dangerous to you and baby, but i would defer to your OB and dentist. Im 38wks so i figured id just wait till after baby at this point, but if you have time still and your drs say its okay, just take care of it, no reason to be more uncomfortable than pregnancy already is lol

You can call and ask. My dentist said he would only want to see me if I have a teeth emergency or for a light cleaning while I'm pregnant.
Drink more water, brush an an extra time a day. Floss, anti cavity toothpaste. Just be careful with your teeth. I have a genetic thing that makes my teeth more soft than other peoples and I've gotten pretty bad cavities doing everything I can

its tough.  3rd child and just about all the calcium have been drained from mine. just do the best you can . Dentist told me tea and soft drinks were the worst so ive kicked the habit this time around.
