Just venting about the craziness that is my life

So we (boyfriend and I) are from Ohio, and we moved down to Florida last year around this time. He had a great job opportunity and we had just had a miscarriage so we were looking forward to the change in scenery. Everything was great and we were enjoying having extra money, so we decided we wanted to start trying for a baby again. It took a few months but I finally got pregnant in June.

In August, his car (which is a shitty older ford) broke down and we had to shell out like $2000 to fix it. Just as we started to recover from that, things started going wrong at his job and he put in his two weeks’ notice to avoid getting fired. So of course, right before his last week of work, his car decided to break down again. This time it’s $1200 and we just don’t have the money for it this time. Thankfully his mom is helping and completely paying for it. But like, whyyyyy is this all happening when I’m almost halfway through my pregnancy.

So his job search has been mostly back home in Ohio, and right now we’re waiting for an offer to come in from a company in his hometown which is only 20 minutes from my hometown. I’m happy to be around my family again especially with a baby on the way, but I was not expecting to have to move in the middle of my pregnancy.

At least I don’t have to help move things this time 🤷🏼‍♀️
